Welcome to our school site. Our Lady of Good Counsel is a school in the Catholic tradition and therefore seeks to promote and develop the Christian faith and practice of its students, families and staff. We aim to develop the 'whole' person by providing a variety of rich learning experiences for our children that encourage them to grow into socially adept, caring and spiritual people. To help reach these goals each classroom undertakes projects that are planned to provide students to ‘give of themselves' to the wider community and society. A tradional example of these projects is the trip south, by our Year 5 students and many of their parents, to farming areas where trees are planted to help in the fight against salinity.
As a Catholic school, OLGC receives its charter from the Bishop and is a member of the system of over 157 Catholic schools in Western Australia.
